The Moorings
45 mooring balls have been approved with the general layout
being
10 on the east side, 20 on the west and 15 in the lee of
Island White.
An anchorage will be available within the lee also.
The moorings
will begin as Bow only moorings allowing for
swing to adjust to the
morning Southerlies. Catalina-style,
2-point moorings will arrive at an
approved location at a later
date. The moorings will range from 30 ft to
100 ft with at least
50% being available for a long term lease program
following
the basic rules of the Catalina Island balls. The initial lease
will
be for 3 years with a maximum stay of 156 days a year with no
more than 15 days in a row. Ownership will definitely have its privileges with a “Pier, Ball and Beach Club,” and special
access to
shore boats.
Specials and additional amenities will be available. Be sure to
look for
our “Mooring Club” and expected pricing in the upcoming information
package to be available in Mid-May.
While fuel costs keep climbing higher, we will be offering superb
amenities less
than a gallon away!
